Tranfering Public Health (and the staff already responsible) from the NHS to Local Authorities will be an unmitigated disaster. Makework for Councils pure and simple, especially when combined with their recent power grab of licensing from the Magistrates.
I think that plain packets are a splendid idea.
ReplyDeleteAs we well know from crack and heroin and so on, since dealers were forced to sell in plain packets, sales plummeted.
