Hazmat Suits At The Ready

Is this the most pathetic thing ever?
Police are warning that when cannabis plants reach the final stages of maturity the odour they release has carcinogenic properties.

Officers who deal with the plants use ventilation masks and protective suits and people who have plants in their home, especially anyone with young children, may be exposing their family to a health risk.
Mind you the comments to the article demonstrate why stoners, even when they are right, make such unconvincing advocates for anything at all:
CAN THE AUTHOR EXPLAIN THIS SUDO SCIENCE

CityChurches- if it is then it's very discreet, went over my head.

I guess they've given up on the 'Cannabis is bad and dangerous and we'll put you in prison!' approach and gone down the route of 'You're killing your children, you know!'....

Yes, have to be careful of sparks when lighting up.

Hello,
Not trying to be a smart a== or anything, but I would really like an informed response. I am moving into a home that was previously occupied by a grower of medical cannabis. The product was grown in the home. I guess the humidity was so high that now the wall paper is peeling off the walls. There is no visible mold. However,I have children w/ high mold sensitivity and allergies to heaps of different growing/ blooming things. I am told that the home does NOT retain a smell. But...you can not smell alot of molds either. So, this leads me to the question:
What do I have to do to make sure that the kids don't get sick. I have never grown anything, so what do I do? Will there be a film substance on the walls. Should I rip the old paper off and replace so they don't touch anything that may be on the walls? We are putting new carpet in so that is a plus.
Again, I thank you and apologize in advance if I have offended through my ignorance, and I don't want a politically correct answer, I am searching for the truth. So, if you know the answer but don't want to post, please email me directly at: starterheritage@gmail.com
