Germany's celebrity polar bear Knut has triggered a new controversy by fishing out 10 live carp from his moat and killing them in front of visitors.Perhaps they should have gotten themselves one of those vegan polar bears instead. You'd have thought that the fate of Timothy Treadwell would have corrected the tendency to anthropomorphize bears.

OMG! Now the modern society lifestyle is causing obese polar bears!
Now that Knut is overweight the zoo keepers are now wondering whether it was such a brilliant idea to save costs and house the penguins and polar bears together.
