Courts Out For Summer.

Do Italian courts routinely break up for a summer recess? It doesn't seem the most efficient process for a notoriously slow legal system to take.

Ross, no one stays in town in that heat - it's down to the marina for a few weeks. Italian priorities. :)

Not like the Italians to do something so inefficiently.

The whole of Italy closes for the summer.

It might be a case of 'Praliament is in recess, we're all in recess, pass the wine.'

Not too bad an attitude, really.

(parliament, not praliament. That's the hazelnut chocolate committee I'm thinking of there).

Not entirely my fault. Someone passed the wine.
