I've just taken the British Citizenship test online. On the plus side I passed with 19/25 which they say is 79% although it clearly isn't.
The downside is that it is a completely idiotic test, for example one of the questions is "How many children under 19 are there in the UK?":
a) 13 Million
b) 14 million
c) 15 million
d) 16 million
To which the only sensible answer is "What the hell does this have to do with being British?".

There are two children under 19 in my house (both now asleep). Anything more than that would be a guesstimate.
Well, I just scored 12 out of 24, but then again quite a few of the questions were either badly phrased or on subjects I don't care about as a Briton.
Can I take the test for real and get deported out of Brownistan?
Well, I would have passed if I'd got one more question right, so I suppose in my case the answer to the question is 'everything'. Just packing my bags now...
I failed it miserably and am being deported next week.
I only got 9 out of 24. To be fair, it would have been 10, but that was because I missed seeing an option on one question rather than not knowing the answer.
Still, I fail to see the relevance. Perhaps people should start sending their scores in, and telling them where to shove it.
It is stupid. Good questions would be :-
Should women have to have a hijab with answers such as :-
1) No
2) Yes please deport me now.
"Can I take the test for real and get deported out of Brownistan?"
It would be easier just to deport Brown surely?

I've got a very unBritish readership!
"In which TWO of the following places does the European Parliament meet?"
??? And the Britishness link is...?
Good point.
