Over the moon about strong support for NHS – an institution I will defend to my dying day, 2nd only to Everton FC.No one at all is impressed by this kind of populism. Didn't politicians ostentatiously advertising one's allegiance to a football team jump the shark when Tony Blair discovered at the age of 42 that he was in fact a life long supporter of Newcastle United?

Quite underimpressed indeed by this twat.
"Three cheers for the Sheffield Rovers"
I think there was an MP who tried to bolster his populist credentials by putting down an Early Day Motion congratulating "Sunderland United" on their promotion a couple of years ago.
