Sion Simon has decided to put his talents to good use, by announcing his candidacy for a job that doesn't exist- the elected mayor of Birmingham. Actually existing jobs aren't as much of a strong point.
In case anyone's forgotten who Sion Simon is, and if I can't forget then neither should you, here is a reminder:
Birmingham deserves someone with more gravitas but Benny from Crossroads has yet to throw his wooly hat into the ring.
Really?

I used to quite enjoy his column in the Telegraph (wasn't it? about 10 years ago?) and I think in that clip he makes at least one good point - WebCameron was (is if it's still going) nauseating - as indeed are most attempts to involve the 'yoof' (I am now officially 15 days into middle-age so I speak with only a slightly tainted view) in politics.
On which score who watched channel four's 'politicians meet their view of the underclass' on Monday?
How about Joey Deacon?
"(I am now officially 15 days into middle-age so I speak with only a slightly tainted view)"
Doesn't middle age start at 40?
"How about Joey Deacon?"
I have never heard of him, but according to wiki he's been dead for almost 30 years. He could probably still beat Sion Simon though.
No, I'm afraid it starts at 35 - as on the surveys: 18-24, 25-34, 35-50 and so on. I've already bought some cords.
"18-24, 25-34, 35-50 "
Well if 35-50 is middle aged then what is 50-65? Elderly?
