We had a large yellow Hawker dragonfly come into the house a few years ago, through an half-open window.
Given its wingspan, it had to have banked to ninety degrees to get through without doing itself any damage. Fantastic flyers.
I don't know what camera you have but anything above a basic model will have a macro function for close ups.
I was just using my phone camera.
