That's true.
Actually, I'm sitting ehre, thinking what to say and agree, Ross, there's nowt to add.
The idea that a manslaughter conviction can be 'spent' just a decade after the event is truly shocking.
But of course only a person with a distorted Daily Mail mindset would deduce from this that the scales of justice are skewed in favour of 'rehabilitating' rather than punishing, serious 'offenders'...

That plus the fact he was released after such a short time (because he was being 'treated' not punished.
But we've all seen just how effective this 'treatment' is...
